Data analysis

Data analysis

A thorough analysis of the stock of information and of its contents within the company is an essential requirement for successfully planning its management. It is not important here whether we are discussing individual items of data or entire databases.

Such an analysis often comes up against the problem of data that exists in various, often obsolete, data formats. In addition to carefully rectifying this, the processes in which the company information is embedded are also important. These two factors together - that is the type of information and its environment - determine the best strategy for the management of data and files. An important part of this procedure is the specification of the target data formats into which the old data is to be converted, so that its use into the future, using current and future software, is ensured.

When this information has been determined, software programs can be written that are adapted to particular customer needs. In some cases, use can be made of R&S software products, appropriately configured to meet the needs of the situation.
